Replace your spark plug wires about every six months on a 2.3 Turbo. They just cook em to death.

Buy Ford parts ONLY. Most of the other stuff is crap. I sell Motorcraft parts discounted. Even if you don't buy the parts from me, get Motorcraft.

If you need to change the TFI, Lylse has a neat wrench to take off the TFI, available at Pep Boys. It's called a "Ford Ignition Module Wrench", and costs under $10.

Any brand other than Motorcraft TFIs can make the car act strange.  Many mechanics have chased stumble and idle problems, and had them disappear, after installing a Motorcraft TFI.

Set your spark plug gap to the factory spec of .032.   Nobody needs smaller or larger gaps.  The stock ignition is more than up to the task.
