Have you inspected this motor? Or do you just think that since it has 80kmiles on it, it needs to be rebuilt? I have seen many HIGH mileage 2.3s with a very small ridge at the top of the cylinder. This indicates very little cylinder bore wear. I've NEVER seen a 2.3 smoke from blowby, unless it was BROKEN.
Cams do wear out, but it's my opinion that if you are after performance, you will be replacing the cam and followers anyway. I do recommend that you disassemble and inspect your motor, but I doubt you will find worn out bores, and pistons, like you may be used to seeing in lots of V8s. Like Chevys. :)
You say, "but my oil pressure is reading much lower than it used to". Check your cam bearings. They have more to do with low oil pressure, than worn bottom end components.
