It works just fine. It could be better, but it is not "bad". I've made plenty of power with some cheesy intercooler setups. Yeah, it gets hot in traffic, in the summer. But, the car can go FAST, on the stock, supposedly bad, intercooler design. Putting a Turbo Coupe intercooler on an XR or SVO is one of my favorite mods. Try it.
