Turbo Tek Toys Ported Exhaust Manifold |
Don't want to spend $1000 on a tube header for your 2.3 Ford? Here's an alternative that you can feel. We start with a brand new, redesigned, exhaust manifold from Ford, and then port the turbo outlet extensively. This part decreases turbo spool up time, and also the flow to the turbo under full boost conditions. Combined with a 3" exhaust the improvement is remarkable.
About 3 hours of labor is involved in porting every manifold, and alot of metal is removed to allow it to flow more exhaust to the turbo. Expect a lead time of 2-4 weeks.
This part is recommended as an upgrade for those with a cracked stock exhaust manifold, and also to support the quest for more power.
