What's a guibo? If you're looking here, you probably already know what a guibo is,
and need one!
Guibos are a flexible rubber joint in the driveshaft of certain European vehicles.
It is also called a "Roto-Flex coupling" or a
"donut". ALL Merkurs, both XRs and Scorpios have a guibo, unless
they've been converted to a one piece driveshaft.
Age, wear of related components, and even oil leaks, can cause them to crack, break, and
come apart. If you've heard a loud bang! lately and seen a piece of the car go
flying off down the road, then your guibo is GONE. It requires immediate replacement
to prevent damage to other components because of driveshaft imbalance.
If you see cracks in your guibo, order a replacement now!
We stock the "correct" replacement, not the Fiat part.
There is a difference! Don't buy an inferior part from someone else, especially if
you've increased the performance of your engine.
